The Raw Materials Congress in Poland has become a key platform for highlighting the intensifying cooperation between Rwanda and Poland in the fields of mining and strategic raw materials.
During the event, we presented the achievements of LuNa Smelter – one of the most important players in Rwanda’s tin industry – showcasing the company’s genuine contribution to the development of modern, sustainable, and responsible metal production.
The programme also featured a presentation by Ms Barbara Akaliza from the Rwanda Mining Board, offering a comprehensive insight into Rwanda’s investment potential and the country’s long-term strategy for the development of its mining sector.
Both presentations strongly underscored the dynamic and multidimensional partnership between Rwanda and Poland – encompassing not only mining and metallurgy, but also research collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the creation of foundations for future joint initiatives.
