Conference “How to Support Scientists in Conducting R&D?”

On December 12th, 2025, PROXIS company participated in the conference “How to Support Scientists in Conducting R&D?” organized by the #MAKE SMART PEOPLE FAMOUS Foundation.

The conference took place at the Faculty of Economics of the Marie Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. The event summarized results of the project “Identification and Support for the Development of Competencies of Research Staff in Initiating and Implementing R&D Projects,” co-financed by the Minister of Education and Science under the “Science for Society II” Programme.

The results of quantitative and qualitative research conducted among representatives of the academic community and cross-sectional panel discussions were presented during the conference.

The assumptions of the program for developing researcher competencies in R&D were also presented, aiming to reduce the competency gap of scientists and students.

CEO of PROXIS company, Marcin Loska, had the pleasure of presenting PROXIS’s experience in collaboration with research institutions as well as company’s succesful execution of research and development projects co-financed by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP), the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR), EIT Raw Materials and the European Commission under the HORIZON Programme. He also participated in a panel discussion on opportunities and methods for improving competencies of representatives of the scientific community.
PROXIS Sp. z o.o. was the only representative of the business world invited to the conference.
