Projekt no. POIR.02.03.02-24-0067/15

"Development of a comprehensive prospecting program based on application of innovative geoinformatics methods"

Project has received funding from Polish Agency for Enterprise Development under Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020, the sub-measure 2.3.2. Vouchers for innovations for SMEs.

The aim of the project was to develop an innovative service minimising costs and shortening time required for the research of raw materials deposits, while maintaining a minimal impact on the natural environment. This, in turn, will enable exploration companies to develop further exploration projects. The service offers providing and designing a full geoinformatics analysis program being the main element of a resource exploration path. It is based on the automatic identification of minerals and rocks based on a modern analysis of satellite hyperspectral images.

The project was executed with participation of the Faculty of Geology, Geophysics, and Environmental Protection of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. The result of the project is an implemented innovative product in form of a model and interpretation path of prospecting of deposits.
